RIntern Organizational Effectiveness Strategic Projects & Advanced Analytics (Open)

Radnor PA (Airgas HO) Management

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

The Organizational Effectiveness Center of Excellence (COE) works collaboratively with business leaders to identify and assess opportunities drive solutions and improve outcomes aligned to business priorities while maximizing engagement impact and driving sustainable growth.

The Organizational Effectiveness COEs mission is to enable the organization to achieve its strategic goals by providing expertise guidance and support in the areas of organizational effectiveness organizational design change management and strategic workforce planning. The Intern will support initiatives across the Airgas LATAM NAM clusters and for the broader Air Liquide Americas region in these areas.

The Intern will gain handson experience in areas like organizational effectiveness strategic workforce planning organizational development and change management. This will be gained while providing support to internal consulting services aimed at development and implementation of initiatives and interventions that will help the business achieve its desired strategic goals in order to drive business results. This includes participating in crossfunctional teams to diagnose organization effectiveness organizational design and change management issues while generating innovative solutions to address gaps. This also includes data analysis generating reports and providing insights to help the business target critical resources towards strategically signed projects and initiatives.

This is a strategic individual contributor intern role reporting to the Head of Organizational Effectiveness Organizational Design & Change Management. This person will be ideally located in the Airgas corporate offices in Radnor PA but open to candidates in the Northeast MidAtlantic and Eastern Midwest areas as remote. Some travel may be required to support projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data and Analytics

    • Gather data through a number of sources to assess current state and help identify potential areas for improvement

    • Analyze data to identify trends patterns impacting organizational effectiveness

    • Research best practices in organizational development data analysis

  • Organizational Effectiveness Improvement:

    • Provide support to projects aligned with cluster regional and group strategy

    • Propose methods and KPIs to assess performance

    • Perform regular internal and external benchmarking including the monitoring and analyzing of approaches that can bring the greatest value to the organization.

  • Development of organizational effectiveness & change management

    • Support change management initiatives leveraging our change management methodology and approach (PROSCI ADKAR & 3Phase)

    • Recommend change management interventions and approaches based on a structured approach to change.

  • Support to Customers

    • Provide project management support to drive projects to successful completion

    • Build credibility through your commitments and actions. Build brand and be viewed as a trusted advisor and coach to HR and business leaders

    • Build strong relationships with leaders by providing guidance and consultation

    • Viewed as a doer and not just an order taker. Role will identify gaps and then work to fill those gaps with innovative and creative solutions.

INTERNAL

  • Role will interact with senior leaders across the various functional areas.

  • Role will support presentations to CEO COO and other senior/CSuite leaders as required

EXTERNAL

  • Role will gain exposure to working with Vendors and SI Partners

Are you a MATCH

  • Must be pursuing a bachelors degree in business HR or related degree field as a minimum required; Someone pursuing an MBA or Masters degree in HR I/O Psychology or related business field is highly preferred.

  • Minimum GPA of a 3.0 if currently enrolled as an undergrad. Minimum GPA of a 3.5 if currently enrolled in an MBA or graduate program.

  • Prior experience in HR as a business partner desired

  • Prior experience supporting change management initiatives desired

  • Project management experience desired

  • Desire a systems thinker who can link various initiatives across functional teams and areas

  • Desire a person skilled in presentations and group facilitation

  • Seeking a team player with a strong appetite for learning

  • Seeking a person who has the ability to work independently and as part of a high performing team

  • Seeking candidates with a strong service orientation and sense of urgency. Must be able to work well under pressure and be flexible in adapting solutions to changing situations.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests in a fastpaced environment

  • Ideal candidates will work fulltime through the upcoming summer and then on a parttime basis throughout the fall. If the candidate can work full time in the fall while attending school that would be highly preferred.
