The opportunity
Are you ready to be our new Factory Quality Manager We are looking for a team player who is driven structured and has a resultsoriented mindset.
As the Factory Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing the organization and its employees. Our unit High Voltage Breakers has a global responsibility for developing producing and selling high voltage breakers for todays and tomorrows energy systems. You will work both locally and globally within Hitachi Energy and with our customers. You will establish and maintain a quality culture within the operating unit by assuring and controlling quality with systems tools and teams to meet or exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.
How youll make an impact
Act as a role model for the behavior required to support a Quality culture. Influence Operational Unit employees to ensure the correct thinking and decision making.
Act as an advocate for the Customer by ensuring the Voice of Customer through the customer feedback processes. Ensure the results of customer feedback data are analyzed and responded effectively.
Establish implement maintain and continuously improve applicable Quality Management System. Identify areas for improvements in the interactions with Sales and Global Product Group Management and propose solutions.
Perform audits and ensure the use of analytics of Quality data from all parts of the operation to identify risks failures and nonconformances within the Operating Unit its suppliers and customers.
Ensure effective internal controls are in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements. Establish and maintain measurement capability and performance indicators.
Define and deploy performance indicators to ensure offerings continue to meet its operational requirements and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. Take actions when performance deviates from expectations and manage them to the closure.
Your background
University degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
10 years in an operational or quality leadership role with cross functional interaction less may be acceptable depending on your job history.
You demonstrate a strong quality mindset and knowledge of core quality methods Six Sigma experience or Belt certification is appreciated.
Fluent in English is a must. Swedish is an advantage to ease communication with peers and shop floor staff but not a must.
