Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher to inspire our young musicians and build a strong foundation in instrumental music education. The successful candidate will be part of a team that implements a comprehensive instrumental music program for students in grades 46 fostering musical skills appreciation and educator will provide lessons and instruction in all 3 of our elementary school buildings on different days. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Music Education (Masters preferred)
  • Valid state teaching certification
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching instrumental music at the elementary level
  • Proficiency in multiple instrument families (woodwinds brass strings percussion)
  • Experience conducting beginninglevel ensembles
  • Strong classroom management skills appropriate for elementaryaged students
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication skills with students parents and colleagues
  • Passion for introducing young children to the joy of making music
Salary in accordance with the Triton Regional Teachers Association.
