As a Material Handling Technician Dispatch you will be a valuable part of the dispatch process for goods and materials to our Roche affiliates worldwide. By ensuring adherence to our shipping schedules working cohesively in a team environment with our internal and external partners and maintaining high standards of quality we can make that Roche future a reality.

The Opportunity:

• Take a primary role in the location assignment and placement of Temperature Monitor Devices and adherence to our quality SOPs.

• Gather material for shipments stage appropriately reconcile and prepare shipments for transport.

• Assist in loading of shipments for outbound transportation.

• Processes select shipments through a computerized manifest system.

• Assist in the location and placement of Temperature Monitor Devices.

• Performs administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods.

• Interact with third party vendors and forwarders being a vital part of the transportation of goods.

• Handles routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle.

• Investigate inventory/process systems problems and drive their resolution.

• Confirms the accuracy of invoices bills and charges relative to the shipment of goods.

• Logs order information into the computer and files and distributes paperwork as necessary.

• Maintains records and generates reports for accounting and other areas of standard operation.

• The typical schedule is Monday Friday 7:004:00

Who you are

• You hold a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 years of related experience

• You have an English proficiency required to maintain ensure and promote safety requirements and procedures for required machinery.

• You possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Requirements:

• Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001.

• Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word and Excel).

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Be able to perform basic math calculations.

• Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures.

• Competence in Warehouse software packages (SAP TMS E6 or other systems)

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is 31900..00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other jobrelated factors permitted by law.
