Job Description

Job Title: Math Educator

Location: Enfield Public Schools Enfield CT

Position Type: FullTime

Job Description:

Enfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to utilizing best practices in instruction and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Connecticut State Standards.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing timely feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and student learning.
  • Maintain a professional and respectful classroom environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut State Certification in Mathematics (Grades 712.
  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.
