WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Verification and approval of security standards: Ensuring that these standards are applied to our products while challenging the team to maintain compliance.
Support different teams and push topics in parallel: Ensuring effective collaboration and progress across multiple projects simultaneously.
You document product information comprehensively maintaining clear records of requirements updates and project decisions.
You ensure quality by reviewing deliverables and offering constructive feedback highlighting areas for improvement and maintaining high standards.
You actively participate in collaborative sessions including daily meetings and refinement discussions to ensure team alignment.
A datadriven mindset is highly valued.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
Relevant Security Engineer experience: Capable of translating Volkswagen security requirements into development tickets and ensuring they are applied both on the code base of each data product and its documentation with high quality.
Understanding of authentication concepts: Able to familiarize themselves with standard reference catalogs such as the Volkswagen NIST catalog which contain security standards and translate these into actionable tasks for the team.
Experience in documentation management and in writing and reviewing detailed project documentation.
For you communication is not just a buzzword; it is a prerequisite for daily work within the team and between individual units.
You have the openness to delve into new technologies and strategies and creativity is always welcome.
Fluent in English.
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g.: NIST) and understanding of compliance standards
Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Scrum Agile).
Experience with ticketing tools (Jira)
Proficiency in German language
