Fortis Native Group LLC is interviewing for the position of Lead Custodian on our contract for the FAA at LAX. The Lead Custodian will report to the Project Manager with overall accountability for all custodial services including those completed weekly monthly and periodic. Position Summary: Responsible to take the lead in performance control of all housekeeping custodial and related services associated with this contract. General Responsibilities: - Knowledge of contract requirements and schedules.
- Maintains proper skilled staffing levels specified in schedules.
- Responsible for adherence to quality control and performance benchmarks.
- Assures that work responsibilities are properly allocated among subordinates.
- Responsible for training of subordinate personnel in performance of their prescribed duties.
- Develops and implements work methods and procedures designed to achieve lowcost efficient operations.
- Counsels and coordinates with Project Manager on all matters relating to services performed.
- Establishes performance standards for each phase of work where practical.
- Issues reports and summaries as required.
- Meets periodically with subordinates to review status of various elements of facility services and to institute corrective measures for any deficiencies discovered.
- Performs any additional duties on an as required basis where such duties are within the scope of contractual limitations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Minimum of three 3 years of recent experience as a lead custodian and related housekeeping and cleaning functions in office buildings.
- Must have a working knowledge of all housekeeping tools and equipment.
- Must have general handson knowledge of both routine nightly and daytime building cleaning and related services.
- Requirement for bilingual candidates (English/Spanish).
- Written and verbal communication skills to provide quality customer service

Education: Graduate of a technical/trade school or high school diploma and related experience required. Pay: $19.20 an hour plus $4.93 an hour (up to 40 hours a week) for Health and Welfare.
