In this role you will:
Manage product finishing scheduling set up operate maintain and adjust processes or packaging equipment.
Maximize quality and efficiency complete batch records and associated documentation and work in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment providing feedback on issues and errors with Good Manufacturing Practices documentation.
Develop skills in team effectiveness and communication contributing to team goals.

Execute routine tasks by following prescribed steps within agreed timeframes.
Identify and address issues in routine processes.

Packaging Line Coordinators are responsible for the operation of production lines. The Line Coordinator can oversee both manual and automated production lines. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards (SOPs) and following all regulatory requirements (i.e. GMPs & OSHA). This job includes the following functions:
Perform manual and/or automated packaging and/or inspection duties as required by the operating unit
Changeover set up and assist with troubleshooting of all production lines
Perform line cleaning and clearances; verifies line is cleaned and cleared prior to starting a production order
Perform necessary process checks including but not limited to package checks hourly audits etc.
Monitors production output checks product quality and makes adjustment to ensure equipment is operating efficiently
Maintain entries into GMP documents with daily review for completeness & accuracy
Utilize computer skills to interact with multiple systems performing entries is systems such as but not limited to SAP AMPs (EBR) Serialization and WPM
Display robust communication between shifts
Train and mentor new colleagues and TCWs
Working safely and compliantly following all applicable SOPs and standards including recording of GMP documentation
Completing and maintaining all required training on time
Consistently displays Pfizer Core Value behaviors of Courage Excellence Equity and Joy
Utilize downtime effectively and learn production principles
Maintains training requirements per Site and unit goals
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
(Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED 12 months of manufacturing experience
Strong foundation in manufacturing experience
Proficiency in math and reading skills for comprehending Standard Operating Procedures Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Batch Records
Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts
Excellent communication skills
Evidence of strong team interaction and leadership abilities
Six months of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or GMP facility e.g. current or previous Pfizer colleague or contractor or similar)
Mechanical experience / knowledge preferred.
(Preferred Requirements)
Knowledge of GMPs and Food Sanitation in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing plant
Experience in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry
Technical skills in operating and maintaining packaging equipment
Problemsolving skills in a structured environment
Ability to work under close supervision and follow established guidelines
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Openness to new ideas and continuous improvement
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Considerable standing. Walking bending reaching and lifting up to 42 pounds.
Manual dexterity and good handeye coordination is .
This position requires the manual packaging of products.
NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
This is a 3rd shift position. The hours are 11:00pm 7:30am. Holidays and weekends may be required to meet business needs.
