As a QC Analyst I supporting our QC Analysis and Test Service Team you will be responsible for inprocess and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements at our ASPEX Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth Texas.
In this role a typical day will include:
- Perform routine analysis of raw materials packaging components complaints investigations per schedule and per standards/SOPs.
- Training of/use of analytical techniques for finished product particulate testing.
- Use of laboratory equipment (Including but not limited to HIAC FTIR and Microscopes).
- Collect calculate and interpret test results.
- Enter and report test results.
- Take ownership and execute revisions for SOPs and ATPs related to testing programs laboratory operations and/or equipment operation.
- Perform investigative testing to support laboratory investigations.
- Conduct peer review of data collected by coworkers.
- Train analysts on internal procedures and test method.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 8 yrs; Assoc.4 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
