The Opportunity
Join us as a Research Intern and contribute to one of Roches most innovative and forwardthinking initiativesLLMPowered Digital Twins for Precision Drug Discovery & Sustainable Clinical Trials. This project is redefining how AI machine learning and genomics intersect to revolutionize drug development and patient care aligning with Roches 10year ambition to deliver more targeted effective and sustainable healthcare solutions.
You will:
Work closely on the development and finetuning of Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to simulate virtual patients (digital twins).
Analyze genomic and clinical datasets to assist in patient stratification and predictive modeling.
Assist in creating documentation presentations and technical reports summarizing insights and results.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in ML LLMs and digital twin technologies.
Take ownership of research problems explore new ideas independently and drive innovation through selfguided learning.
What you will gain:
Handson experience applying advanced AI/ML models in the pharmaceutical and healthcare domain.
Deep insight into how LLMs and digital twins can transform clinical trials and precision medicine.
Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelors / Masters studies at a university preferably in the field of Artificial Intelligence Computational Biology Pharmaceutical Sciences within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship of at least 3 months and getting to know the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore you are
ML & LLM Experience: Prior experience working with Machine Learning models and Large Language Models (LLMs) with the ability to develop and finetune AIdriven simulations.
Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills to drive a robust communication strategy.
SelfLearner & ProblemSolving Attitude: Ability to explore new methodologies experiment with different approaches and figure out solutions independently when faced with challenges.
