Your role and impact:
We are seeking a visible and approachable Ambassador for Safety Wellbeing and Safeguarding to provide daytoday advice and support across our teams. In this role you will be a key resource for all aspects of safety and wellbeing ensuring that our workplace remains a supportive and secure environment.
As the Ambassador you will play a vital role in building and maintaining an engaged culture that prioritizes:
Safety & Wellbeing: Promoting a workplace where everyone feels safe and supported.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Quality and Continuous Improvement: Fostering an environment where standards are consistently improved and maintained.
Reporting to the Senior Safety & Wellbeing Partner your responsibilities will include empowering and supporting teams to be safe skilled and confident in their roles. You will also coach and guide participants helping them pursue their goals with confidence and assurance. This position requires a strong focus on proactive engagement helping teams align with the organizations values while contributing to a culture of growth and continuous development.
As a Safety and Wellbeing Partner you will work closely with a variety of internal teams including Safeguarding Advisors People Business Partners and Social Enterprise Supervisors. Your role will be central to building strong positive relationships across all levels of the organisation. Together you will ensure the organisation has the right systems skills and capabilities to successfully deliver on strategic objectives and organisational priorities. Through effective collaboration you will help foster a culture that prioritises safety wellbeing and the ongoing development of employees.
What you need to make a difference:
Essential Selection Criteria
Experience in a hands on safety role for no less than 2 years.
You will have a Cert 4 in WHS (or higher) and ideally hold a qualification or experience in training or coaching others.
Experience managing a range of hazards and incidents developing proactive programs and initiatives to minimise risk and promote the health and wellbeing of workers.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive customer (internal and external) relations.
Drivers Licence.
