Learning Prep School in Newton MA is hiring
Substitute Child Care Teachers to fill in as needed for teacher absences in Infant Toddler and Preschool classrooms for the
School Year. Learning Preps Child Care Center is an onsite child care for children of school employees. We have three classrooms: Infant 3 15 months) Toddler 15 months 2.9 years) and Preschool 2.9 5 years). Substitute Child Care Teachers are always paired with an experienced fulltime teacher and will receive paid training on our programs policies and best practices. The Director of Childcare will contact subs as needed throughout the year to offer assignments. Sometimes these are sameday or daybefore requests when possible more notice is given. Childcare hours vary from 7:30am3:15pm Monday Tuesday and Thursday to 7:30am4:00pm Wednesday to 7:30am3:00pm Friday.

Reports to: Director of Child CareJob Goal:Provides a Child Care program made up of Infants Toddlers and Preschoolers in a caring safe and stimulating environment focused on the intellectual and physical development of young children while serving as a supervisor instructor role model and support person for the Learning Prep students.Responsibilities:- Implement the program core values and mandated programs.
- Provide quality child care in a safe caring environment for the children in the Center.
- Documentation for children in the program: Progress reports Monthly curriculum Weekly newsletters Injury/medical reports attendance etc.
- Attend staff meetings inservice training programs and other related school functions.
