Job Description
Overview:Fulltime School Year 10month)Littleton Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join the team at Littleton Middle School. The ideal candidate will promote student health provide emergency care manage chronic health conditions and serve as a key resource in creating a safe and healthy school Include:Provide direct nursing care to students and staff including first aid illness and chronic disease managementAdminister medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policiesMaintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state and federal regulationsMonitor immunization compliance and conduct vision hearing and other mandated screeningsCollaborate with parents school staff and healthcare providers to support student health and learningDevelopment and implementation of individual health care plans (IHPs) and emergency action plansPromote health education and wellness programs within the school communityRespond to medical emergencies and participate in school crisis responseEnsure implementation of districtwide health policies procedures and protocols in alignment with state and federal compliance with public health mandates immunization requirements and communicable disease reporting.
