Job Title:Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Oncology Evaluation and Treatment Center (OETC) Location:Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore MD Job Description: Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Oncology Evaluation and Treatment Center (OETC). The APP will provide high-quality care to patients with oncologic conditions working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment and support. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the oncology team.
- Administer treatments including chemotherapy immunotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis treatment options and symptom management.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Participate in oncology clinical trials and research initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: - Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Maryland.
- National certification as an NP or PA.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong clinical skills in oncology care including chemotherapy administration and symptom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN) or Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP).
- Bilingual proficiency.
Working Conditions: - Full-time position with rotating shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Exposure to infectious diseases hazardous materials and oncology medications.

Salary Range: Minimum 55.81/hour - Maximum 86.51/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
