Job Description
The Charge Nurse is responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff in the delivery of high-quality safe and compliant patient care. This role includes clinical mentorship documentation oversight and coordination of staff assignments based on patient needs.
Essential Functions Additional InformationDemonstrates leadership capabilities and a commitment to nursing excellence.
Experience in clinical teaching and quality improvement is strongly preferred.
Knowledge Skills & AbilitiesThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program; BSN preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years in a rehabilitative or acute care setting with demonstrated leadership ability.
License: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; CRRN preferred.
