Hardware Systems Integration Engineer

Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Integration Engineer to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in Huntsville AL. The selected individual will provide engineering support to meet client requirements for an Army hypersonic rocket and missile program onsite at Redstone Arsenal AL.

This position is located in Huntsville AL.



BS in Science or Engineering
years supporting engineering for Army weapon systems
Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering for major defense acquisition program office or OEM.
Demonstrated knowledge and application of systems engineering and requirements analysis
Weapon System development/integration experience
Demonstrated experience with System Requirements and Design Reviews
Familiarity in Launchers Reload Operations Missile System Characteristics Command and Control
*Active DoD Secret security clearance
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
Experience with technical documentation evaluations and reports.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Familiarity with DoD engineering processes and requirements
Desired qualifications/nonessential skills required:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Technical oversight of major weapon systems development
Relevant experience with RCCTO Army project office and/or PEO MS.
Knowledge of system interface requirements and requirements management
Experience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadership
Familiar with conducting reviews of entrance and exit criteria

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for meritbased performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88200.00 $195200.00.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The HW Integration Engineer is responsible to provide systems integration engineering support and expertise for the weapon development integration prototype production and test. Duties include:
o Provide HW systems engineering and integration support
o Review and define system requirements
o Review and evaluate system technical specifications designs analyses test plans/procedures and technical data packages
o Interface with other government organizations and development contractors to facilitate preliminary concept exploration and candidate system design
o Support development and testing of prototypes for upgrades to the weapon system to include fit checks and provide oversight to modification installations
o Develop and present briefings and reports to government customer

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
