You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Marketing & Communications team facilitates the externalfacing requirements of the organization by developing and maintaining our brand image brand identity and funderrequired social media usage for summer programming and preparation for Fall/Winter tasks. Working in small groups or across departments youth in these roles develop confidence and begin to master skills used in their writing analysis and participation in the workplace. Our waterfall mentorship model means you will help others to learn things you are already an expert in and others will help you learn things you are working on yourself. These roles are progressive over the summer and youth are afforded as much scope and responsibility as they are willing and able to handle. Its a great way to level up in a team setting where your voice and opinions genuinely make a difference daily.
Contracts are funded by the Government of Canada and offered at the Ontario minimum wage.
These positions follow a hybrid work structure where employees both work from home and from the office/meet up location(s) as needed based on demands of specific tasks and projects.
Working from the office/studio or your local meet up location(s) will be required when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration or inperson supervision.
Training and Workshops for this role may be online or inperson.
Due to federal funding requirements for this position eligible applicants must:
Be 15 30 years of age on their first day of work
Be a Canadian citizen have permanent resident status or be protected under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Be present in Canada while working
Hold a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
Be aware that not all positions are funded in all locations
Marketing Coordinator
Marketing Coordinators build and maintain relations between The Coop the media and the public ensuring all internal and external communication aligns with the Coops mandate and values. They develop the frameworks for externalfacing communications; strategize and implement marketing efforts by developing key marketing and advertising campaigns; and conduct market and public opinion research.
Social Media Coordinator
Social Media Coordinators assist in the development of strategies and related content for direct and digital campaigns and maintain our social media accounts.
Communications Coordinator
Communications Coordinators are responsible for developing and delivering key messages both internally and to external target audiences.
Content Creator
Content Creators use their graphic design video editing and copywriting skills to build creative assets in support of various campaigns.
Typical Work Hours
Typically work 35 hours per week
Rotational coverage for evenings and weekends as scheduled
