Job Description
The Middleware Chapter focuses on promoting best practices sharing knowledge and establishing standards and frameworks for system integration. By providing guidance on APIs eventdriven architectures and secure data flows the Middleware Chapter ensures consistency and efficiency in how systems communicate. This approach helps create a solid foundation for scalable reliable technology solutions across the organization while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement among teams.
The candidate will be allocated to the iPaaS integration platform diverse cloud and onpremise systems. They will be involved in shaping the integration strategies for various internal systems ensuring efficient data flow and seamless API management.
Required profile:
- At least bachelors degree in computer science or a related field with over 25 years of application and data integration experience.
- Strong knowledge of API connection methods including different ways systems communicate over the internet as well as familiarity with tools for managing and securing these connections (e.g. Azure Logic Apps Service Bus)
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud understanding how to use its tools and resources
- Handson experience with building and connecting APIs along with some exposure to cloudbased tools that help systems work together smoothly
- Good understanding of coding languages with the ability to build and troubleshoot code when needed
- Excellent English communication skills both spoken and written
- Availability for traveling 10 of time
- Experience with integrating technology systems especially using Microsoft Azure services (such as Logic Apps and Azure Functions).
- Familiarity with how different systems work together including methods for processing data handling multiple tasks and managing events.
- Understanding of industry standards for secure data sharing ensuring that information is safely and consistently managed
- Experience with tools for managing code and automating workflows like Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Comfort with widely used tools for testing and documenting system connections such as Postman and Swagger
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams globally adapting to different cultures and languages
- Quick learner of new technologies and standards with the ability to keep up with industry changes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to engage with both technical experts and everyday users
- Highly organized and selfmotivated able to manage tasks independently and proactively
- Experience with Agile or Scrum project methods which focus on collaboration and delivering in steps
What the candidate will do in the product:
The candidate will design implement and maintain integration solutions for various cloud and onpremise systems. They will manage and optimize APIs and ensure that the integration platform is secure scalable and aligned with business goals. The candidate will also collaborate with tech and business teams to define integration requirements and play a key role in building and operating iPaaS systems.
What the candidate will do in the Chapter:
In the Middleware Chapter daily activities revolve around collaboration knowledge sharing and establishing best practices. Members focus on refining integration standards reviewing and improving middleware frameworks and ensuring systems are aligned with organizational goals. Chapter time is spent on technical workshops discussions on industry trends and addressing crossteam challenges related to APIs eventdriven architectures and data flows. Members also work together to document and share solutions mentor others and continuously refine the integration strategies used across the organization.
