Job Description

Position Summary

The Policy Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the processing of insurance policies ensuring accuracy efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role supervises a team of policy processing professionals provides training and guidance reviews and approves policy documents resolves escalated issues and collaborates with other departments to streamline processes. They maintain uptodate knowledge of insurance regulations implement quality control measures and participate in audits and process improvement initiatives.

What will your job entail

Job Responsibilities:
Oversees a team of policy processing specialists providing guidance support and training to members sets performance goals and conducts regular performance evaluations.
Identifies policy type and determines appropriate action needed for complex policies makes appropriate updates to client database to meet regulatory obligations.
Reviews and approves insurance policy applications for accuracy and completeness ensures compliance underwriting guidelines regulatory requirements and company policies.
Maintains accurate records of policy transactions endorsements and other related documents generates reports on departmental performance metrics.
Implements quality control measures to minimize errors and ensures data accuracy conducts regular audits of policy documents and transactions.
Builds and maintains effective internal working relationships and supports the team in meeting company goals.
Communicates status updates and escalates issues and opportunities to meet the needs of clients and homeowners.
Addresses escalated customer inquiries and resolves issues related o policy processing collaborates with customer service representatives and other departments.
Develops training materials and conducts training sessions for new hires and existing team members keeps staff informed about changes in policies procedures and regulations.
Collaborates with underwriters actuaries claims processors and other departments as needed to facilitate smooth processing.
Work Experience and Education:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Insurance Policy Operations and Customer Service.
Bachelors degree required; Business Operations Sales Business Administration preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
Licenses & Certifications:
Prescribed: NA
Preferred: Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)

The target salary range for this position is $64750.00 $72000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors such as training transferable skills work experience licensure and certification business needs and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Fulltime roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
