What Youll Be Doing
Remote Banking & Shared Services provides modern software driven banking experiences for CIBCs personal and small business banking clients by putting our clients at the center of all that we do. Youll be joining CIBCs Remote Banking & Shared Services Technology QA Team as a Test be hands on with all aspects of the systems testing process and provide suggestions that will ensure client needs are met with the highest quality. As a Test Coordinator youll be a team member on CIBCs Technology team developing strategies creating test plans test cases execute test cases and participate in troubleshooting defects and related issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for all relevant reporting throughout the testing cycles.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 12 days per week onsite while other days will be remote.
How Youll Succeed
Testing Expertise participate in the analysis and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage endtoend testing activities for various projects across the business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.
Leadership Skills Provide advice to your team including ongoing feedback support and mentorship. Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.
Project Coordination Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a projects timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received approved and aligned to your projects timeline budget and objectives.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in software development testing automation and software process improvement. Its an asset if you have experience with Debit POS payments systems testing Debit card issuance end to end testing knowledge of card issuance and manufacturing flows chip card EMV personalization validations and retail payments end to end testing. It would be considered strong assets if you have experience with POS Payment Hub COINS CSP and working knowledge of UL test tools including the UL EMV Personalization Validation Tool.
