Job Description
This position is temporary to cover the summer months June & July.
# of hours will vary depending on need of coverage
Pay per hour: $12.05
Responsibilities:
- Provide Care and maintain the wellbeing and safety of the children in the classroom.
- Plan and carry out activities appropriate for the age of the children in the classroom.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by sanitizing all the toys and surfaces in a regular schedule.
- Comply with all Oklahoma Department of Human Services and Enid Public Schools Districts regulations pertaining to the site and the children in the programs care.
- Observe and record childrens activities on the approved program forms.
- Provide information to parents about their children as well as child development information.
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Fulfill annual staff development or training sessions as required by the Department of Human Services.
- Write and implement weekly lesson plans based on the Early Learning Guidelines.
Supervision:
The EPS Childcare Center employees will be evaluated by the Director and Principal.
Additional Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Criminal History review request and fingerprinting
- CECPD PDL Registry
- OKDHS required Safe Sleep Training
- OKDHS Orientation for Child Care Program Professional Training
- First Aid and CPR
- District required: FERPA BBP
- ELCCT training through CECPD 90 days to complete)
