Job Description:

Are you passionate about creating a safer and more sustainable workplace Hitachi Energy is looking for a dedicated Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our team. In this role youll be instrumental in eliminating or reducing occupational health production safety environmental and fire risks within our company premises. Youll ensure compliance with national laws and regulations as well as company HSE requirements. This is your chance to make a significant impact by promoting safe behaviors conducting inspections and audits and driving strategic HSE initiatives. How Youll Make an Impact

  • Act as a coach and advisor to the supervision team on HSE management.

  • Ensure compliance with local state and federal HSE regulations.

  • Maintain and execute HSE management systems conduct inspections and audits and manage corrective actions.

  • Oversee incident reporting investigation and analysis programs.

  • Analyze and monitor trends related to incidents inspections audits and corrective measures.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HSE programs and procedures.

  • Promote employee and supervisor awareness and participation in safe behaviors.

  • Assist in strategic planning to achieve HSE KPIs and objectives.

Your Background

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant HSE experience preferably in construction/real estate.

  • Strong leadership interpersonal and influencing skills.

  • Effective problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and plantspecific software systems.

  • Preferred: Professional certifications (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM) and a Bachelors degree in engineering chemistry environmental or occupational health sciences.
