Job Description

Responsibilities
Partner with team members to learn and understand the Companys business and workflows
Learn and effectively utilize the Companys various systems to obtain data necessary for financial accounting reporting and analysis
Process monthly journal entries and perform bank and GL account reconciliations
Assist with the design and improvement of financial controls (e.g. general ledger account reconciliations) and analytical review procedures
Research gross transactional data to analyze drivers of results and trends (e.g. premiums commissions losses and reserves)
Collaborate with other departments to complete various ad hoc projects.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively either independently or within a group and to communicate proactively and clearly both verbally and in writing with team members and Management.
Qualifications
02 years of relevant work experience (financial reporting and/or auditing a plus)
Working knowledge of insurance concepts a plus
Bachelors degree in Accounting
Strong MS Excel skills
Proactive pragmatic detailoriented problemsolving skills
Enthusiasm for working in a fastpaced dynamic growthoriented environment
