Job Description

Export Compliance Specialist TCRS#3814

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Export Compliance Specialist will support the Global Trade Compliance program by ensuring effective trade compliance practices are maintained globally in accordance with U.S. and international import/export laws and regulations.

This is an inoffice position near Syracuse NY with flexible hours and potential for hybrid after probationary period.

EXPECTATIONS

Experience with HTS Schedule B and ECCN classification

Understanding of EAR/ITAR export license application process

Audit shipment documents to ensure accuracy of information and complete records

Work closely with internal and external partners on compliance matters

Review and escalate Denied Party Screening results

Assist in the development of policies procedures and training


ESSENTIALS

Customs Export Specialist (CES) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) preferred

13 years experience in Trade Compliance

Degree preferred

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Proficient with MS Office applications

Must be a U.S. Citizen to comply with Export Control Laws
