Job Description
Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for client service We are seeking a Client Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role you will oversee the monthly accounting and tax processes for a portfolio of clients acting as the vital link between our clients and our skilled accounting staff. Your mission will be to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery helping our clients navigate their financial landscapes with confidence.
What you will do:
- Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with clients.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients addressing their accounting and tax needs with professionalism and expertise.
- Provide innovative tax planning and consulting to optimize clients financial strategies.
- Accounting and Tax Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate the monthly accounting process ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review business and personal tax returns including but not limited toSand 1040s (including Schedule C).
- Manage tax provision and compliance processes adhering to federal state and local regulations.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks proactively.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the accounting staff fostering a collaborative and growthoriented work environment.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting processes.
- Passionate about helping small businesses achieve their financial goals and succeed.

- A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA or EA license preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in accounting tax & compliance.
- Proficiencyin tax software and MS Office.
- Exceptionalclient services skillsand ability to build strong client relationships.
- Experience working in clientfacing enviornments
- Experience supporting multiple clients 2030
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Superior organizational skill and attention to detail.

This position is available as in our Durham office with opportunities to work remotely 12 days per week after 90 days of employment. We service our clients from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST every business day. We are techforward and processdriven so there are no endless late nights! We have systems in place for providing exemplary client service that allows our team scheduling flexibility and balance. We know that having the best team is critical to our own success. Our team is generous in sharing their time and helping others develop new skills quickly.
