Leidos Defense Systems Colorado Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team supporting a standalone manufacturing facility performing work on a hypersonic weapon system as well as other DOD and aerospace applications. As part of the site leadership team the ME Manager will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team to support our nations war fighters. Agility flexibility and creativity will be necessary to successfully navigate engineering and production.

Primary Responsibilities
Manage and lead engineering staff to support all programs.
Support implementation of Solumina MES.
Create and maintain work instructions.
Identify and execute on continuous improvement projects.
Identify and reduce risks in the production processes.
Plan and maintain production flow through MRP system including change management and make/buy designation.
Ensure smooth transition of MBOM to Material Planning team.
Support estimating with review of new opportunities.
Maintain department performance metrics.
Basic Qualifications
Candidate will have a BS degree in engineering from an accredited university with at least 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Prior supervisory experience.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems as well as PLM and MES software.
Proficient understanding of GD&T.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Excel Word PowerPoint Project and Visio.
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or MS in engineering.
Lean manufacturing experience with Six Sigma certification.
Prior experience with machining processes.
Prior experience in Deltek Costpoint.
Secret Security Clearance.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $112450.00 $203275.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
