Job Description
Anderson County Schools Preschool is looking for a teachers assistant for our Grand OaksElementary location for theschool year. Teacher assistantsaid the classroom teacher in the instruction and care of preschool children ages 35 years while guiding them in activities to promote social interaction physical movement and intellectual growth.
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma for hire and be willing to work towards and obtain a CDA credential within 2 years of hire;
or enroll in an associate or baccalaureate degree program while employed.
The preschool may offer tuition reimbursement once all other financial assistance options are exhausted.

Spanishspeaking candidates are desired but not required.
Fulltime position for 192 days per year at 7.5 hours per day typically 7:30 am3 pm.
Pay is based on the Anderson County Schools educational assistant pay scale with applicable educational supplements. Credit may be granted for formal work experience.
For example starting pay can range from $11.73/hr to $18.81/hr depending on verifiable work experience and any credentials held.
