Job Description
Project Superintendent
Spartan Contracting Corporation is seeking a Project Superintendent with extensive experience in groundup commercial builds to join our team. Experience in banks and convenience stores or other complex designs is desired. The Project Superintendent will coordinate and manage assigned job site activities for projects in the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth regions. The Project Superintendent collaborates with project managers other superintendents engineers architects owner/vendor suppliers and other field personnel to deliver a successful project on time and on budget with the desired level of quality.
Location: Dallas/Fort Worth (Onsite/Regional) Candidates must be based in the area or be willing to relocate within 120 days of employment.
Travel Required: Frequent Travel Required; Travel to other regions may be required to support other team members and meet project priorities.
Salary Range: $70000$110000.00 per year (based on experience

2. PlanGrid / AutoDesk Build and / or ProCore

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Valid Drivers License and Passing MVR Drug Screen and Background Check
- Willingness to travel frequently and work nights weekends and holidays as needed.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years experience as a project superintendent in the commercial construction industry preferably Bank / 711 experience;
- 5 to 7 years experience of combined education and work experience is highly desired
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations
- 5 years experience reading blue prints and plans
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors equipment & materials suppliers
- Experience creating and generating RFIs reviewing and understanding submittals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dual Spanish/English language fluency a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelors degree in construction management or related field preferred

There may be occasional exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. Conditions can also include the risk of electrical shock and risk of vibration. The noise level in the work environment can often be loud.
The Senior Superintendent is regularly required to:
climb stairs site and stand
and hear at normal levels.
with close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and have the ability to adjust focus.
with hands and arms.
hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines
and / or move up to 50 lbs.
