Job Description

Green Mountain Union High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team beginning August 2025. The ideal candidate will bring both enthusiasm and adaptability to teach a variety of integrated science and elective courses to a diverse student are looking for an educator who is:Skilled in inquirybased instruction and grounded in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)Familiar with MultiTiered Systems of Support (MTSS)Experienced in designing and facilitating handson laboratory experiences across a range of student abilitiesCommitted to ongoing professional development and collaborative curriculum planningA strong general science background is preferred. This position requires the ability to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment that fosters both academic achievement and personal successful candidate will:Build positive supportive relationships with students families and colleaguesEncourage curiosity and critical thinking through projectbased and experiential learning approachesInspire students to develop the knowledge skills and habits of mind necessary for continued academic successIf youre an innovative educator who thrives in a collaborative environment and believes in the power of studentcentered learning wed love to hear from you.
