Our Emerging Talent Programs which includes Interns Trainees and Finance Rotational Associates offer unique opportunities for students recent graduates and emerging talent to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies TV shows and other great experiences. These seasonal paid assignments provide meaningful and productive work that builds on your experience and develops your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks realworld experience and many educational and social networking opportunities.
This Summer Internship is from May/June through August 29th (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
Business Affairs is responsible for negotiating and drafting production agreements with writers producers performers directors television networks coproduction entities and other televisionrelated personnel and service providers on behalf of Sony Pictures Television and its related companies. Productions include scripted and nonscripted network cable and firstrun syndicated television programming as well as animation and daytime programming. Also responsible for implementing and administering the business policies and procedures for SPT. Works with Creative Production Finance and Legal Affairs departments to provide information business advice and consultation services on a regular basis. Involved in analyzing business and legal issues related to productions as well as reviewing budgets and other financial information.
