AB2534 Compliance Effective January 1 2025
Effective January 1 2025 and in accordance with California Education Code Section 44939.5 all applicants for certificated positions must disclose a complete list of all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) where they have been previously employed including fulltime parttime or substitute roles. LEAs include school districts county offices of education charter schools and state special schools. Failure to provide this information may be considered an act of dishonesty and could affect hiring decisions.

Job Summary
LongTerm Mild/Moderate Special Education Substitute Teacher Needed
San Dieguito Union High School District is currently seeking a longterm substitute teacher to serve students with mild to moderate disabilities. We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable educator who can provide consistent support in a special education setting collaborate effectively with colleagues and families and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse learning needs a strong understanding of special education practices and curriculum and the flexibility to adapt instruction based on individual student needs. Salary/Pay Rate
$180/Day Full Day Three 3 hours ormore
$90/Day Half Day Less than three 3 hours 0 2.9 hours)
*$200/Day Full Day LongTerm Effective on the 6th consecutive dayof the assignment.
*$100/Day Half Day LongTerm Effective on the 6th consecutive day of the assignment.
If there is a break in service after longterm pay is effective the rate will revert back to the regular full/half day rate for 5 consecutive days.
*If a substitute is working a longterm assignment where the employee on record has a regular broken schedule such as MTTh longterm pay rate will apply on day 6 of the assignment.
