Practice Accountant
Location: Cheadle Hulme / Stockport
Salary: 38000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Fulltime Permanent
Are you an experienced Practice Accountant looking for your next challenge Our client a growing accountancy practice in Cheadle Hulme / Stockport Area is expanding their team and seeking a dedicated professional to manage a diverse client portfolio.
About the Role
As a Practice Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong client relationships ensuring the delivery of highquality accounting services. From preparing statutory accounts to providing valuable financial insights your expertise will be key in supporting your clients success.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of statutory accounts for small to mediumsized limited companies under FRS 102 and FRS 105 including corporation tax computations.
Preparation of unaudited accounts for sole traders and partnerships.
Preparation and submission of selfassessment tax returns.
Liaising directly with clients via phone email Zoom and facetoface meetings.
Providing sound financial advice and ensuring all client queries are resolved effectively.
Managing client relationships and representing the firm with professionalism and integrity.
What Were Looking For
AAT ACA ACCA qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience).
Minimum of 3 years experience within an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and FRS 105.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in accounting software including Xero QuickBooks and Sage (Sage Accounts experience is advantageous).
Ability to work independently at client premises when required.
Confident communication and relationship management skills.
