Our client in Paarl is in need of a young and dynamic Financial Manager/Corporate Secretary who will be responsible for overseeing group financial operations and fulfilling corporate secretarial duties. Manages financial reporting compliance and governance procedures while serving as a liaison between the Directors and stakeholders. Reports to the CFO and supports leadership in maintaining organizational financial health and regulatory compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas: Financial Management Oversee full accounting function for the group Complete monthly and annual journal processing Manage daily cash flow and banking facilities Maintain general and subsidiary ledgers Administer thirdparty loans and intercompany reconciliations Coordinate group shortterm insurance
Compliance & Reporting Ensure timely submission of all statutory returns Prepare and present management accounts Lead budgeting and financial planning processes Coordinate annual financial statements with auditors Manage director expense and loan account reporting
Corporate Secretarial Handle all company secretarial administration Maintain corporate governance documentation Support board and committee meetings
Operational Support Administer payroll and salary deduction accounts Manage employee provident fund Ensure cost recovery from subsidiaries for shared services Build stakeholder relationships Perform additional duties as assigned by the CFO
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Accounting degree/diploma) Advanced computer literacy skills (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Excel) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to prioritise multitask and adapt in a fastpaced environment. Welldeveloped pressure management skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive and collaborative approach.
