Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Front of House Manager for a distinguished luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for a servicedriven individual with a strong hospitality background to lead the frontfacing operations of a prestigious property.
Key Focus Areas:
Lodge/Hotel Management:
Oversee and manage all Front of House operations including Reception Guest Relations Retail and Spa
Collaborate with the General Manager and Hotel Manager to ensure seamless property operations
Represent the brand with professionalism fostering goodwill and maintaining high service standards
Act as a brand ambassador by hosting site inspections media visits and engaging with key stakeholders
Uphold and maintain the propertys service standards in line with brand expectations
Ensure departmental structures are efficient and aligned with current hospitality trends
Conduct effective departmental meetings with followups and actionable outcomes
Assist in securing favorable procurement agreements to benefit the property and broader group
Innovate guest experiences by staying current with hospitality trends and competitor offerings
Handle guest queries and complaints professionally using feedback as a tool for growth and improvement
Development & Staff Management:
Implement training programs using both internal and external trainers
Provide strong leadership through active management and employee development
Oversee performance management and succession planning processes
Conduct regular performance appraisals and ensure implementation of developmental plans
Community Engagement:
Support and establish community partnerships to maintain a positive public image of the property
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 3 years of experience in senior Front of House hospitality management
Hospitality Management qualification required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proven record of achieving performance targets
Strong knowledge of international hospitality trends and market offerings
Understanding of supply chain and product sourcing
Valid Code 08 driver s license and reliable personal transport
