Join Amazons Global Logistics team as a Business Intelligence Engineer II and drive operational excellence through datadriven insights. Youll play a crucial role in optimizing business processes analyzing complex systems and developing innovative solutions that directly impact Amazons global logistics network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and passion for problemsolving to enhance one of the worlds most advanced supply chain operations.
Key job responsibilities
Design and implement scalable approaches to support datadriven decisionmaking
Apply advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems
Develop and maintain ETL processes for largescale data analysis
Build and validate statistical models and machine learning algorithms
Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization
A day in the life
As a Business Intelligence Engineer II youll start your day by reviewing key performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement. You might collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements for a new analytics tool then spend time coding and testing your solution. In the afternoon you could present your findings to business partners recommending process improvements based on your analysis. Youll constantly be learning adapting to new challenges and making a tangible impact on Amazons logistics operations.

Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift
Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with largescale complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
