Job Description
Want to help build Earths leading ecommerce Finance team At Amazon its our goal to be Earths most customercentric company where customers can find and discover anything they might want to buy online. US Consumables Finance team supports the core Consumables category business (Health and Personal Care Grocery Beauty Premium Beauty Baby and Pets) and various fastgrowing and highly impactful programs (e.g. Everyday Essentials Subscribe and Save Reorder Programs Amazon Access etc.. We are looking for an analytical selfdriven and innovative Finance Manager who is able to distill complex problems into solutions that drive business insights and finance process improvement.
The role is an opportunity to lead key workstreams and controllership processes for program initiatives at Consumables. The role will support Amazon Access and Climate Pledge Friendly. You will partner closely with crossfunctional teams to perform analysis create metrics and develop forecasts/insights that drive strategic business decisions for senior stakeholders. While this role is within US Consumables Finance several of our mechanisms and workstreams extend beyond US Consumables resulting in high impact complex and visible projects.
Key job responsibilities
Build financial models/business cases for existing and new program initiatives
Drive automation and scale of financial reporting. Simplify process for internal stakeholders (e.g. finance peers and business partners).
Driving finance communication with partner teams on product performance and financial impact including identification of risks and opportunities.
Provide insights and clarity on team opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
Partnering with product management marketing and engineering teams to understand initiatives and influence financial results.
Partnership with business teams and Finance stakeholders to help develop short and longterm forecasts.
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science) and 5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
