JOB TITLE:

Post Doctoral Research Associate Speech Imaging Laboratory

JOB PURPOSE:

The University of Wyoming Speech Imaging Laboratory (PI: Katelyn Kotlarek) is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to join our research team. The labs projects focus on understanding the anatomical and physiological underpinnings of typical and atypical speech development in children with cleft palate with the goal of improving early outcomes. This postdoc will work on an NIHfunded research project 1R21DCin addition to other ongoing projects in the lab. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to develop and pursue an independent research program through grant applications as well as to participate in a leadership role coordinating research activities and supervising team members. This is a University of Wyoming and NIH grant funded position. Funding for this position is guaranteed for 1 year with the option to extend for an additional year. Research represents 100 effort for this position. Opportunities to gain teaching and/or clinical experience may be explored based on applicant interest but are not required components of this position. Start date is anticipated August 25 2025.
