The role
Checkout is actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented Strategic Accounts Business Development Specialist to join us as we accelerate our development globally from our Headquarters in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a fundamental role in our rapid growth as we revolutionise merchant experience and continue to set ourselves apart from the rest when managing our largest and most strategic accounts worldwide.

We are looking for a selfstarter that thrives in a fastpaced and competitive environment and is excited about joining us at this pivotal point in our journey.
This role will be part of our Strategic Accounts team and sits within our Commercial department. You will have the opportunity to work crossfunctionally with teams across Product Marketing Solutions Engineering and more.
The ideal candidate approaches business development and intelligence in an analytical manner is data driven and is a creative problemsolver. You will be required to think outside the box to help build deep and meaningful relationships with merchants and to be highly organised.
How youll make an impact
- Become an expert on our key strategic prospects
- Be familiar with the environment/market in which each account operates
- Gather and analyse data to accelerate sales cycles
- Ensure that all data is updated and all opportunities accounted for on our internal systems (Salesforce 6sense Clickup etc..
- Collaborate daily with our engagement team to ensure a strong understanding and alignment across the entire sales cycle
- Work closely with Sales in nurturing developing and deepening relationships with existing and prospects
- Coordinate the synchronisation and collaboration of internal teams at Checkout to ensure an aligned team effort when dealing with key merchants
- Develop a team to support our commercial efforts with key accounts
- Assist senior in strategizing on best solution and product offering for each merchant
Qualifications :
What were looking for
- Highly organised and able to prioritise shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively
- Strong communicator both written and verbal
- Analytical and datadriven
- Commercially minded
- Understanding of issues large accounts are facing
- Eager to apprehend long sales cycles
- Confident in stakeholder management and dealing with Csuite executives
