Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience in networking servers routers and switches as well as a passion for providing exceptional end-user support. This role involves troubleshooting issues across various network and server locations and requires excellent communication skills to handle basic email correspondence and user interactions effectively.


Key Responsibilities
1) Network and Hardware Management
  • Configure maintain and troubleshoot routers switches servers and other network-related equipment.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime for all systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across different locations.

2) End-User Support
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users including resolving hardware software and network-related issues.
  • Educate and guide users on best practices for using IT systems and tools.

3) Troubleshooting Across Locations
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in various physical and virtual network/server environments.
  • Coordinate with remote teams to address location-specific challenges.

4) Communication
  • Respond to basic emails and communicate effectively in English with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document troubleshooting steps solutions and maintain accurate records of support activities.


Requirements

  1. Proven experience in managing and maintaining networks routers servers and switches.
  2. Strong troubleshooting skills for network and server environments.
  3. Experience in providing end-user technical support.
  4. Certifications such as CCNA CompTIA Network or equivalent are a plus.
  5. Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  6. Basic understanding of email etiquette and professional communication in English.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  8. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
