If your passion is Human Resources we invite you to consider joining our team as a Human Resources (People Operations) Support at Devereux Georgia located in the Atlanta suburbs of Kennesaw. This is an ideal role for someone with minimal experience in the field looking to expand your skill set in HR.
Note: This is a parttime position
Starting pay: $22.00 /hr (Additional $$$ for Experience Bachelors degree or higher)

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia was established in Cobb County Georgia in 1973 at the invitation of Governor Jimmy Carter and for more than 40 years has been providing new hopes new dreams and new choices for children adolescents and young adults struggling with emotional and behavioral health challenges.
Under the direction of the People Operations Director you will perform tasks to support the effective and efficient delivery of HR services including but not limited to; data management benefit administration electronic file maintenance compliance leave and workers compensation management and serving as a resource for employees and you will assist the Recruitment Specialist with the background screening for selected applicants and current employees; preemployment drug screen and other new hire clearance requirements. Lastly you will serve as a backup to other People Operations team membersas needed.

Qualifications
Must Have Previous Experience
- Minimum of an Associates degree required in Human Resources Business Administration or related field of study; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 (one) year Human Resources experience required; two 2 years preferred; Experience using HRIS systems such as Oracle MyAvatar and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Applications and database management.
- Experience processing workers compensation claims FMLA and other leave of absence cases.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; customer service relationship management multitasking skills and ability to work independentlyare required.
- Some knowledge of state and federal employment law benefits administration credentialing
- Valid Drivers License required; Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.
