Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Inbound data science team partners with product team to optimize inbound supply chain by influencing right tradeoffs among cost speed and network capacity utilization.
FBA Inbound analytics and data engineering team is looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to generate business insights leveraging 100s of Terabytes of data to influence product and policy decisions. The role would apply innovative analysis techniques build new data pipelines and share insights through scalable self service dashboards with product teams.
Key job responsibilities Deep dive into data to uncover actionable insights. Create robust reporting to increase visibility into the metrics and data. Partner with key stakeholders to enable data driven decision making. Partner with data engineers to build data pipeline and standardize data transformation logic. Design and implement scalable selfservice dashboards to enable business users get answer frequently asked business questions in self service fashion. Apply statistical techniques to infer impact of product and policy decisions on business outcomes.
3 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Bachelors degree in BI finance engineering statistics computer science mathematics finance or equivalent quantitative field
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with largescale complex datasets
