About the Job:
Reporting to the Director of Application Development the Senior Manager of Application Development will lead a growing team of resultsdriven Tech Leads and Software Developers to design build and maintain Supply Chain and fulfillmentrelated applications and its dependent services that meet the needs of our business and customers. They will work closely with crossfunctional teams including product process operations and customer service to ensure the services are scalable reliable and adaptable to our rapidly advancing business environment. The ideal candidate can see the big picture from both a technical and business perspective has the leadership skills to motivate the team and has the foresight to help strategize and drive the team in delivering corporate objectives. As a key player this role provides the opportunity to impact our development and QA efforts while influencing the product strategy and direction.
What You Will Do:
Lead application development teams from initial inception of ideas to delivery including hiring coaching and performance management of Tech Leads and Software Developers.
Provide technical leadership and expertise in the design architecture and implementation of the global supply chain services including inventory management and fulfillment center operations
Collaborate with stakeholders to define roadmaps translate needs into technical requirements drive vendor selection and ensure effective communication across teams.
Implement and enforce quality assurance processes including automated testing CI/CD pipelines and compliance standards to maintain system performance reliability and security.
Partner with Product and Process team to drive vendor selection engagement and management
Oversee the entire development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and support
Qualifications :
A minimum of 7 years experience managing teams to deliver complex applications including 3 years relevant experience with Agile software development methodologies
A minimum of 5 years experience with software development best practices including coding standards and code reviews
Experience with AWSKnowledge of a broad range of modern programming languages including PHP Java ReactJS/ReactNative ObjectiveC and Swift is an asset
A minimum of 5 years experience working with order processing inventory management and fulfillment systems
Experience working in 3rd party OMS IMS and WMS softwares
