Bowling Green State Universitys College of Musical Artshas earned a reputation as one of the countrys outstanding collegiate music programs. The College enrolls approximately 450 students under the guidance of 55 fulltime and 25 parttime faculty. Our comprehensive music curriculum features specialties in music education and contemporary music including the distinctive DMA in Contemporary Music. The College is home to the MidAmerican Center for Contemporary Music producing an annual New Music Festival and a nationally syndicated radio program. The Colleges musical calendar features more than 300 performances and presentations annually by faculty world renown guest artists and 30 student ensembles. Essential Functions
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied flute coaching chamber music teaching woodwind repertoire and pedagogy classes undergraduate and graduate recruiting advising contributing to the artistic and intellectual life of the College and University and maintaining a current profile in flute performance and pedagogy through state regional and national activities. Other duties including classroom teaching to be assigned by the Chair or Dean depending upon the needs of the Department of Music Performance Studies and the College of Musical Arts.
