The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) at Anchorage International Airport is looking for a Maintenance Specialist BFC Journey 1 HVAC to help us Keep Alaska Moving!



What you will be doing:

As a Maintenance Specialist BFC Journey 1 HVAC you will perform HVAC system maintenance troubleshooting and repairs while monitoring building automation and alarm systems. You will use specialized software for recordkeeping operate tools and diagnostic equipment and ensure compliance with regulations. Daily tasks include coordinating with airport personnel responding to system alerts and maintaining refrigeration equipment. Strong technical skills safety awareness and clear communication are essential in this role.

AIRPORT SECURITY BADGE

Candidates for this position must be eligible for an airport identification badge in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations 49 CFR 1542 which requires fingerprinting and a criminal background check. The successful applicant must pass a fingerprintbased criminal history record check as well as a comprehensive background investigation along with a Transportation Security Administration Security Threat Assessment.
