The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned CPA who is looking to progress their career in a highgrowth and highopportunity public accounting environment.
About You
- You have 13 years postCPA experience with recent employment in a public accounting firm including a strong focus on tax.
- You have experience in performing tax planning and preparation for individuals estates trusts and small businesses with a focus on an ownermanaged client base.
- You are comfortable researching complex and unusual tax matters and applying this specialized knowledge to anticipate identify and address a variety of tax issues relevant to internal and external clients including reorganizations.
- You have a proven ability to prepare and review a variety of Canadian and/or U.S. tax returns (T1 T2 T3s etc) for individuals and organizations.
- You demonstrate high level of accountability and ownership with little oversight.
- You are comfortable working with Caseware TaxPrep and Microsoft Office products and are always eager to learn new technologies.
- You have an insatiable curiosity to learn more and apply your technical knowledge to identify issues and offer recommended solutions for both your clients and coworkers.

About The Details
This is a permanent fulltime position which can be structured as hybrid or working out of one of our RLB offices in Ontario. Paid overtime may be required occasionally during busier times.
