How will you make an impact
You will be supporting the current protein purification process improvement to promote product quality and participating in new product development in R&D. While working within an interdisciplinary team of scientists you will learn and supply your skills and ideas to projects.
What will you do
Perform laboratory experiments to develop assess or transfer methods/procedures specifically protein purification and biochemical analysis.
Help develop and build the foundation of new cell or proteinbased bioassays.
Responsible for performing data analysis and interpretation.
Communicate findings and discuss relevance of your data to a multidiscipline team.
How will you get here
Education
Bachelor or Masters degree in Biochemistry Immunology Biology Bioengineering physiology or a related subject area.
Experience
Bachelors degree with 3 years of proven experience related to the job description; Masters degree with 2 years practical experience in life sciences.
1 years of experience with tissue culture protein purification flow cytometry assay development and molecular biology techniques.
Technical experience with antibodyantigen detection test including ELISA affinity and beadbased immunoassay.
Good understanding of GLP and GMP guidelines for assay development
Knowledge Skills Abilities
Protein purification.
Sterile tissue culture technique.
Assay development experience particularly with fluorescence and luminescencebased assays.
Independent project .
Observe deviations from the anticipated outcomes and provide solutions where needed.
Succeed with a moderate level of supervision and mentorship.
Strong collaboration orientation with proven influence/interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $72600.00$108900.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
