Job Description
Position: Youth Care Specialist (FullTime 3rd Shift and Onsite)
Salary:$18.70 $23.10 hourly

Job Type:FullTime 3rd Shift)
Available Shifts:3rd Shift MF and Weekends (OnSite)
RESPONSIBILITIES:The Youth Care Specialist reports to the Youth Care Specialist Manager and supervises and transports the youth. Youth Care Specialists working the second 3rd) shift and overnight are responsible for the AfterHours Emergency Phone triaging incoming calls problemsolving and making sure documentation is completed and entered prior to the end of the shift. The Youth Care Specialist prepares timesensitive reports such as AWOL and Critical Incident reports per Cornerstones of Care policy and demonstrates awareness and understanding of the cultural and ethnic diversity of the children and families we serve and provide culturally sensitive services.
QUALIFICATIONS:This position requires a high school diploma/GED and at least two years of experience working with youth. Preferred candidates will have a bachelors degree and at least two years of work experience in the Child Welfare arena. 1 year of Kansas case management experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check and physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid drivers license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
