Assists with overall planning and operational activities of the program. Incumbent assists students alumni and community members in exploring and pursuing meaningful careers over a lifetime. Regularly accomplished through advising students on various aspects of entering the world of work through classroom presentations content creation and 1:1 appointments. Additionally incumbents aid clients in developing evaluating and/or implementing employment plans and help students faculty and employers to Career Services Specialist II reports to an Assistant Director within the Career Design Center and may train guide and supervise student and/or parttime employees.

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants but not necessarily occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
