As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Customer Solutions Manager you will be responsible for helping guide AWS customers along their multiyear journey to the cloud. In this new highly visible role you will be ensuring that all AWS teams are working together effectively and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the customer.

You will be a critical partner to our customers leveraging your experience with large scale cloud transformations and helping shepherd them through their stages of AWS adoption. Guiding the customer through the operational educational and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.

You will interface with customer and AWS leadership driving collaboration between the other core account groups (Sales Support Solutions Architecture and Professional Services) product/engineering teams and customer teams planning and supporting major workload migrations. You will translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions working backwards from our customers key milestones. You will manage cadence by leading the reporting and tracking functions along the way. The of education plans roadmap to business outcome alignments Executive Briefing Sessions and golive events and transitions are a few items owned by the CSM that are critical to the success of our customers cloud journey.

You are encouraged to think big invent and take ownership on customer challenges. You will not only bring the best of AWS/ Amazon to our customers you will proactively help solve the customers challenges through new ideas tools and mechanisms.

Successful candidates will have a strong technical background be detail driven have excellent problemsolving abilities and be exemplary communicators both at the executive and project team level. You will be a peer leader have the ability to gain stakeholder buyin negotiate and lead teams. Your enterprise cloud experience and operational excellence will influence the teams decisions provide insight and help drive secure and robust solutions.

You will evangelize AWS services and influence customers for adopting them. You should be passionate about delivering a great customer experience by deploying AWS solutions and driving innovation and also be obsessed with contributing to the daytoday management of the customers successful migration to AWS.

* Orchestrate a near mid and longterm vision and strategy for the overall customers cloud transformation by collaborating with the customer and the AWS team
* Demonstrate excellent customer engagement skills through all levels of an organization and develop long term relationships based on excellence
* Maintain a broad and indepth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing to unlock opportunities for customers
* Possess a strong background in change management and incorporating organizational change best practices seamlessly into project delivery
* Accelerate customer adoption through education and enablement
* Collaborate with customers in identifying and prioritizing high business impact use cases for AWS service adoption as well as best practice implementations
* Manage time efficiently and align and engage required Customer AWS and Partner teams to accelerate customers cloud journey
* Be a thought leader across Amazon organizations to knowledge share success mechanisms mentor junior CSMs and impact industry trends

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Math Operations Research or a related field or 5 years of largescale IT deployment or program experience.
5 years of experience leading complex largescale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership business case development realizing customer benefits and successful program completion
Experience engaging with senior customer executives technologists and/or partners to solve complex business problems with advanced technologies
Ability to travel up to 15 as needed


A history of problem solving and disruptive innovation developing technology programs and working across customer organizations
Ability to manage influence through persuasion negotiation and consensus building
Proven track record of being detailoriented with a demonstrated ability to selfmotivate and work in fast paced ambiguous environments
Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver information at the Csuite/Executive level
Selfmotivated problem solver; able to thrive in a dynamic and customerfocused environment. Experience working with Independent Software Vendors

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
