The DSP (Delivery Service Partner) Offer & Expansion team is part of the Last Mile Product and Technology organization and is responsible for designing launching and managing the strategy of the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program around the world across all of its various use cases. Amazons Logistics Claims Management team is seeking a talented claims professional to support our rapidly growing and evolving global auto program. You will lead strategy on auto physical damage processes and TPA performance. Further you will help develop programs and tools that contain costs and continue successful thirdparty administrator (TPA) strategies and relationships. You will have a strong working knowledge of commercial auto insurance policies and experience with large transportation fleets. You will have experience adjudicating both litigated and nonlitigated claims in a timeefficient and costeffective manner. You will help build processes and strategies for handling new issues that arise in a businesscentric way while addressing risk. Typical transactions will range from standard claims settlement to complex high dollar agreements.
Key job responsibilities
Within the Last Mile organization the successful candidate will support and report to a Senior Manager on the Logistics Claims Management team focusing on TPA performance process improvement and vendor oversight. Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Oversee the management of commercial auto physical damage claims with the future possibility of leading an auto physical damage claims team.
Accountable to TPA performance and ensuring the delivery of WoW MoM and EOY goals.
Develop strategy and actions plans to lead process improvement initiatives through internal and external team collaboration.
Work closely with third party administrator (TPA) and insurance partners to drive continuous improvement while supporting simplicity efficiency and cost containment.
Effectively communicate recommended risk mitigation strategies to crossfunctional and internal leadership teams.
Leverage subject matter expertise to deep dive processes challenge status quo and develop tactful solutions that will be impactful to program goals.
Support internal audits to ensure quality and compliance are in accordance with client service instructions and performance expectations.
Partner with vendors to develop and/or update standard operating procedures that align with program goals.
Utilize and develop metrics to make data driven decisions for process evaluations and recommendations.
6 years of auto liability and property damage claims experience
6 years of claims leadership experience
Valid Property & Casualty Adjusters License
Proven ability to lead projects while demonstrating forward thinking and a high level of initiative.
Ability to balance competing priorities while handling each with a level of urgency.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in written format.
Fleet or commercial auto claims experience
Organizational or operational oversight
ARM AIC CPCU or similar designation
Available for domestic travel up to 25

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
